For many years, the Surkhandarya region remained a closed area and was not perceived as a tourist destination.

Our task was to make Surkhandarya attractive for tourism, highlighting its interesting sites and routes.

The large-scale campaign “Unlock Surkhandarya”, which included an informative website, documentary videos, print materials, and blogger reviews, introduced audiences to the history, nature, and culture of the region.

This is how we promoted the most closed and overlooked region of Uzbekistan for both domestic and international tourism.

The guys at Lokals came up with a very strong hook for launching the SAVR oldingmi compstrot: with the voice of modern Uzbekistan, for modern people, in a contemporary execution — it hit straight into the hearts of our audience!
