In the oversaturated sausage market of Uzbekistan

In early 2020, on the oversaturated market of sausages in Uzbekistan, Asl Baraka was far from a top brand — in fact, almost no one knew about it, its products were not available in the country’s most popular stores, and it had not yet entered the capital’s market.

To compete effectively with more recognizable brands, Asl Baraka focused on brand positioning, completely departing from category norms and communication clichés: exaggerated product praise, “plastic” happy families, and idealized lifestyles.

Instead, the brand chose to speak about its target audience — ordinary, simple, hardworking people — the hardworking Uzbek nation.
