The business problem the client came with

We had to change the perception of the global Lipton brand in the Uzbek market. Historically, the product was seen as a purely functional “drink for the heat”, often blending in consumers’ minds with regular soft drinks and losing its “tea soul”. The main challenge was to shift the positioning into an emotional territory — a “mood lifter” — and radically increase consumption frequency among a stressed Gen Z audience.

Business pain:

Separate Lipton from the faceless mass of sweet soft drinks and bring the focus back to the product’s unique “tea soul”.
Find the right tone of voice.
Prove that the brand can be relevant all year round, not only during summer heat.

03 / SOLUTION

The approach we proposed

We combined Lipton’s global DNA — positive thinking and the sun — with the local cultural code of “Yaxshi niyat”: good intentions and a positive mindset. Research showed that, because of everyday routine, Uzbek youth are rapidly losing this innate optimism. We made Lipton a catalyst for the “Yaxshi niyat” state and launched a creative platform built around one idea: giving people more reasons to feel good. We distributed emotional triggers across the entire CJM, launched all-season offline activations — from summer pool parties to winter interactive festivals — and fully updated the trade materials system on shelves.
